6-8 Weeks

This means from the time you order, it will take 6-8 weeks to create the piece and then we ship you order. Shipping time is not included in this creation period.

Why 6-8 Weeks?

We are not a major factory production company, my team and I are a small group of Fairies that like to make each order special.  In the midst of being a hair loss specialist (which is very demanding schedule), I hand make each piece, and I take great pride in what will adorn your beautiful crown. 

Please plan arrange proper timing of your unit for special events etc. 

Ie: If you plan to purchase your unit for your birthday of May 1, you should plan to order 8 weeks out from your birthday. 

Sometimes we are ahead of schedule and units are delivered sooner. However, 8 weeks if our buffer time. 

Upon Arrival

Your unit was pre-styled prior to shipping, however in travel, she may have gotten a bit tossled. No worries! Upon removing her from packaging, give her a little shake and a bit fluff. In the case of body wave or wet styling textures you can use a spray bottle with water as well as a mousse to revive curl.

Placement & Wear

Just like any good shoe or pair of jeans, the unit must too be "broken in". If the wear proves to be snug, feel welcome to place your hands on the interior of the unit stretching in opposite directions. You can repeat this as often as necessary until the unit begins to feel at home.

If your Fairy Unit has lace:

I've pre-plucked and cut the baby hair for you. Lace comes in a standard flesh color, however you can further customize all the above to your liking with lace tinting spray or a little bit of powder foundation that is your complexion. You can apply on the interior of the lace with a brush.

Storage

All purchased unit comes with a styrofoam head. After you've worn your piece we recommend placing it back on Styrofoam head included with your unit. This is to be done every night. Comb clips and or elastic band have been placed inside the unit's perimeters for more sturdy application. They are there for your convenience but are not obligatory. Wear and use as desired for your personal fitting requirements. Note that bands do experience wear and tear over time and can loosen. This is normal. They can be changed out, as needed. To change out your band, you can visit your local craft store (Michaels, Hobby Lobby, Joann's Fabric) .

Shipping

We use USPS for shipping. Our shipping services are available for domestic orders only, and you can expect to receive your orders within three to seven business days after shipping. 

Exchanges and Returns

We do not offer refunds on our products, but would be glad to offer you an exchange or store credit within the first seven (7) days of receipt of your order if you receive a product that you believe is defective. You must contact support 24 hours no later than 72 hours to have a new one created.  Please email support@kanishiafairyhairmother.com and one of our customer service representatives will assist with the issue. Please note that before any exchange, store credit or replacement hair is honored, we must receive the hair back within 7 days in our possession to inspect and determine its quality. It must be untampered. We reserve all rights to decide whether the product(s) are in fact defective. We do not offer refunds, replacements or exchanges if you process the hair in any manner (coloring, lifting, etc).
